Mapping democratic innovations

The aim of this workshop is to identify, get to know and network the bearers of innovative democratic practices in Africa, with a view to amplifying their impact by making them visible, promoting their mapping and dissemination, and encouraging people to think of them as such. In particular, we’ll be building a dynamic typology of practices and innovations based on existing databases and other information provided by the players themselves (crowd sourcing). It will also involve translating the results of the Workshop into various formats (video capsules, blogs and other expressive forms) and disseminating them.
